Dr. JayR McIntye
Dr. JayR McIntyre, known as “Tha Hood Motiv8tor,” is a decorated United States Army combat veteran, global motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and veteran advocate committed to helping individuals overcome adversity and activate their purpose. With over two decades of leadership experience, including 14 years of military service and three combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he earned the Bronze Star Medal for his leadership under pressure. Today, he draws on those experiences to guide veterans, leaders, and communities through transition, resilience, and purpose-driven growth.
Following his military career, Dr. McIntyre built a successful path in entrepreneurship, accumulating more than 23 years of business and leadership experience while supporting veteran entrepreneurs in their transition to civilian life. He holds an MBA, PMP certification, and a Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Global Business focused on veteran mental health. As the founder of Tha Hood Motiv8tor, a 10-time published author, and a globally recognized speaker ranked among the Top 50 Motivational Speakers, he reaches thousands each year through speaking, writing, and mentorship, with a mission to help others transform pain into purpose and lead lives of impact.
Yael Freimann
Yael Freimann is a strategy and operations leader dedicated to resilience, human-centered systems, and trauma-informed program design. Her career spans high-stakes environments within the public sector, including supporting the U.S. Navy’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program and the U.S. Air Force’s Integrated Resilience initiatives. By translating complex missions into scalable, measurable impact, Yael ensures that organizational systems are built to meet people exactly where they are.
Currently serving on the Montgomery County Victim Services Advisory Board, Yael advances community-based approaches to healing and safety for survivors. Her work consistently bridges the gap between systemic strategy and the deeply personal journey of human resilience. She is drawn to Symbolisms for Resilience because of its ability to meet individuals in the moments where words fall short, using symbols, shared experience, and community to remind people they are seen, supported, and not alone.
